Giro is a precisely curated multi-day driving event which seamlessly weaves invigorating drives, unique activities, 5-star accommodations and exquisite dining to create an unforgettable experience for the refined tastes of the most discerning Lamborghini owners.

An intimate gathering, Giro brings together like-minded Lamborghini owners to navigate some of the country’s most iconic roads, while enjoying regional culture, stunning attractions and breathtaking landscapes along the way. With different excursions planned each year, many owners choose to make Giro an annual affair.

 

Branding and print collateral

This exclusive event for it’s preeminent customers included a variety of printed assets: event branding, car decals, menus, gifts (etched-wine glasses), hotel key cards and a post-event commemorative photo album.

 

Mobile App

This first-ever application for a North America Lamborghini event was designed to replace the printed route books that had been historically distributed to Giro guests.

As the exclusive mobile companion for the Giro experience – guests were able to access trip itineraries and routes, details around highlights and hotspots, and receive important updates from the Lamborghini Concierge, all in one intuitive app.

Development began with wireframes, followed by the learning and implementing of a new code-free software (Semble), publishing to the Apple and Android stores, and 24 hr monitoring and updates including live push notifications during the event.

 

The global navigation is divided into 5 categories including Itinerary, Routes, Highlights, Hotspots, Venues

Turn-by-turn directions and static maps were provided in concert with embedded Google map to accomodate spotty cellular service associated with some of the remote routes. And daily routes were updated in real time with push notifications alerting the drivers to the changes.

Photo Album

The mini-photo album was sent to all of the participants a few weeks after the event and included photos and highlights from the experience.

Future Proofing

Information Architecture and wireframes were also developed for future adaptations that accommodate additional Lamborghini experiential offerings, including the Accadamia and Esperienza programs.
